Ed's Experiences
There's no doubt in my heart or mind that
synchronicity is very real. Often I've had experiences of reading a billboard or hearing a
song just as I'm thinking of something in my life... and the message in the song or
billboard will have meaning that relates directly to my feelings or thoughts.
For example: I'd been feeling rundown and out of things... taking life too seriously...
and all of a sudden I start seeing buses with advertisement on the sides reading:
"You are here. Enjoy it."
Another time I start worrying about death and all of a sudden the driver of the car I'm in
gets lost and in the middle of this intersection I look out the window and see a billboard
for the movie What Dreams May Come with the tagline: "After Life, there is more. The
End is just the Beginning."
Yet another time I felt suicidal. Felt like leaving this world but suddenly got the urge
to live. I looked in a mirror and said to myself "I'm gonna stay awhile."
Later at home, on the radio, I hear the song "Stay" by Dave Matthews and the
song lyrics say "Just stay awhile."
Yet another time (and there are many more) I am confused as to my purpose in life. What I
should do? I'd been reading that we are all souls. And while browsing around the book
store in the New Age section, I see a book called "Soul Purpose" with the line
on the cover "Each soul comes with a mission... we all have a mission to
perform." I bought the book. Everything in it seemed to speak to me on some personal
level.
One more to end with. I'd read the book What dreams may come after seeing the movie. I had
started reading up on the idea from the book that "everything starts in the
mind" and "that which you believe becomes your world." I started believing
and soon I started seeing it
manifested in the advertisements on the signs on the side of the local buses... this time
they read: "Believing is Magic." "Magic Happens."
I am a true believer. No doubts. No fears. The Universe, God, Jesus, collective
unconscious, whatever you call it... KNOWS ALL... and always has an answer for us.
